Classes designed for adult dancers by adult dance teachers. Come and explore ballet, deep dive into technique, meet other adult dancers, and dance together with us. All bodies, identities, and backgrounds all welcome.
Registration for Facet Dance Collective Summer 2024 Mini Adult Ballet Intensive. Beginner 9:00am-12:00pm. Intermediate/Advanced 1:00pm-5:00pm. $50 for half day (single level). $80 to attend full day (both levels). $15 per hour class drop in.
If you cannot afford the intensive and want to attend, please email facetdancecollective@gmail.com. We will work with you to make it possible! We do not want finances to be the barrier to adults having access to dance opportunities.

Faculty for the Event:
Kelsey Maloney-Steiner, Co-founder, Dance Teacher, Choreographer, Mental Health Therapist
Kelsey began her dance journey as an adult and quickly fell in love. Kelsey co-founded Facet Dance Collective with the hopes of offering adult dancers of all levels, bodies, and skills opportunities to perform. Kelsey is a professional licensed mental health therapist by day and specializes in working with neurodivergence, eating disorders, and the intersection of dance and mental health.
As a dance educator, Kelsey is dedicated to establishing an inclusive and supportive learning environment where students of all ages, body types, and abilities can acquire both technical proficiency and artistic prowess. She firmly embraces the concept that every body is a dance body. Kelsey's teaching repertoire spans ballet, contemporary, jazz, and improvisation, and she deeply treasures the creative journey, valuing the profound connections it forges among individuals through the expressive language of dance.
Jessica Maddox, Co-founder, Dance Teacher, Physical Therapist
Jessica has a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science (2015) and Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (2019). She loves incorporating her knowledge of biomechanics into the ballet classes she teaches. Jessica regularly attends teacher trainings, such as The Dance Mastery Summit and International Association of Dance Medicine and Science conference. She enjoys staying up-to-date on alignment, injury prevention/rehabilitation, teaching methods, and cross-training. She has completed the basic pointe fitter training through The Pointe Shop.
Jessica’s mission as a teacher is to empower dancers to get in touch with their bodies and instill the power of connection and storytelling through movement. She believes that anyone, regardless of age, body type, or ability, can be a dancer.
